A little obsession. A lot of love. And a truly terrible first attempt at piping roses.

I came to baking later than most people do. For years, it felt like the one corner of the kitchen I wasn't sure I belonged in — too precise, too unforgiving, too much that could go wrong. But I've always found deep joy in cooking for the people I love, and eventually, curiosity won.

The moment I fell for baking, I fell hard. There's something almost addictive about the combination of art and science — testing ingredients, adjusting techniques, chasing a result that is both exactly right and somehow more than the sum of its parts.

The florals came from a birthday cake I made for my niece. I wanted to do something beautiful with the frosting. I had never piped a single thing in my life, I had the wrong tips, and I was following a YouTube video I clearly didn't fully understand. It wasn’t great. But something clicked that day — the idea that frosting could become something gorgeous, something artistic, something that made people stop and say wow — and I haven't stopped chasing that feeling since.

Good Petal is the place where my love of baking and my love of beauty meet. Every cupcake I make is handcrafted, made to order, and made with the same intention I bring to cooking for my own family and friends — the belief that delicious, beautiful food is one of the most joyful things you can share with someone.

I hope that when someone receives a Good Petal box, they feel exactly that.
